Fowl Humour at The Nottingham Comedy Festival ’17

ncf 17

Hi all,

As you may be aware, the Nottingham Comedy Festival is open for submissions again and soon to close!

This year I will be running the brilliant and newly refurbished Understudy in The Lord Roberts, Broad Street, Hockley.

I don’t have many slots but will be looking for acts who would like a show between Weds 8th Nov – Sat 11th Nov.

Currently aiming for a programme of 30 mins-1 hr shows between 7pm-10 pm on Weds & Thurs, 6pm-10 pm Friday & Saturday.

Ideally I’d like to advertise the Lord Roberts as an alternative comedy venue showcasing something slightly different (comedy theatre/sketch/music/poetry etc)

The room holds 30-40 audience members (seated & more standing), will come with full sound set up and a bar upstairs in the main pub for guests.

I won’t be charging a venue fee and would look to share a 30/70 ticket split in the artists favour. To take part in the festival, you will have to pay the entry fee which goes to the festival organsiers to cover marketing/brochure costs.

If this sounds like the place you would like to bring your show this year, or you know someone who would be interested, please get in touch/spread the word!

There are also many more venues this year that accommodate lots of different needs for comedians. Please do share this with anyone you know who is looking to develop their work. The festival, like previous years, is looking to be great!

Keep tuned-in for more updates!
